What does the digital display unit do? 

• Displays speed, distance travelled, level of assist, battery pack power level.
• Allows you to set the level of assist, from 0-99.
• Thumb throttle. When the thumb throttle mode is engaged, the motor exerts power and propels the bike forward, allowing you to take a break from peddling.

Smart, versatile and intuitive technology, there’s a reason why cyclists love it. The 5 assist modes available on the app adapt to your speed, acceleration and slope of the road ahead.

5 modes available on the Thumb Control and App:

Manual Mode:

From here you can set your pedal assist level from 0 to 99 by dragging your finger across the screen. 0 stands for no assist while 99 stands for the strongest assist.

Commute Mode:

Under this mode, you will have a stronger assist level consistently throughout your journey, allowing you to commute with ease.

Leisure Mode:

This is designed to give you a leisurely ride with more pedal-assist coming into effect as the journey progresses.

The further into the ride, the more pedal assistance you receive. Each wave is half an hour, so at the end of each wave, the assist level will become stronger.

Exercise Mode:

This mode is designed to give you more exercise benefits from your ride so has a smaller assist output.

Each wave is 30 minutes in duration. The output starts high, then drops to a very low level, and picks up again towards the end of the 30-minute cycle.

Climbing Mode:

Electrocycle kit removes the tough parts so that you can just enjoy the fun parts of biking.

In this mode, you can set the level of pedal-assist to depend on the gradient of the hills you’ll be riding up. The pre-set assist level will only cut in if the hill is above the set gradient.

For example, when you set a 40% pedal assist level and a 6 degrees gradient, the motor will only kick in to give a 40% pedal-assist when you are riding up a hill with a 6 degree or more gradient.

Anti Theft: We never want to think about our bike being stolen, but to help prevent it, the kit has an anti-theft option.

Press the “padlock” icon on the main application screen – this will activate the alarm setting. If someone tries to move your bike, the alarm will sound and the wheel will lock in reverse. (Just remember to tap the padlock icon to deactivate when you want to ride the bike).
